This year’s senior high scholars’ bowl team performed well at the recent competition hosted by Southern Union State Community College. Coach Phil was encouraged by the wide range of knowledge his freshmen and sophomores brought to the table and sees a bright future ahead for the school’s team. Senior and captain Hannah also qualified as a senior high scorer for scholarship consideration. Team members playing at SUSCC were Hannah (12th), captain; Anslee (12th), co-captain; Reed (10th), Holli (10th), Tate (9th), and Mikayla (9th). Also working hard in practice to earn those playing spots are 10th graders Jessica, Kelsey, and Tori. Our next competition will be the all science Environbowl at Jacksonville State in January.
